- Individual libraries in the state of Connecticut can purchase titles directly from Ingram Library Services (ILS) to add to the iCONN audio book collection.
- The library will be the Bill To: entity to receive the invoice. iCONN will be the Ship To: entity to receive the audio title. iCONN will be the legal owner of the title contributed by the library. The library will have no claim to access the title beyond the iCONN audio book collection.
- Each library ordering titles will be required to have an Ingram Library Services billing account. If the library is not yet an ILS customer, the library will need to submit an ILS New Billing Account form prior to submitting the audio title order (a customer ILS account number is required to fulfill the order.) The library will also need to submit a copy of its tax exemption certificate to ILS in order to set up the individual account.
- When placing an Audio order the library will need to submit the completed order header along with the title list. The order file should be emailed to milaudiosupport@ingramdigital.com.
- When the order is fulfilled (i.e. added to the iCONN collection) both the library and iCONN will be notified.
- MARC record files from each order will be delivered to iCONN from OCLC. iCONN can distribute to the member libraries at its discretion.
- Any orders from libraries adding to the iCONN collection will receive the iCONN early adopter 25% discount through June 31, 2010.
- At the end of June 2010 ILS and iCONN will meet to clarify the relevant discount beginning July 1, 2010 based on the following two options:
- If by 6/31/10 spending on the iCONN collection (via iCONN directly and/or member library additions) reaches $100,000, a 10% discount will be honored for the next 12 months.
- If $100,000 in spending is not reached by 6/30/10, iCONN can sign another Letter of Intent based on any level of spending per the matrix below:
$ Commitment = Earned Discount
$50,001 =10%
$25,001 to $50,000 = 8%
$15,001 to $25,000 = 5%
$8,001 to $15,000 = 3%
